I did call them... They didn't provide me the details of the Additional evidence and asked me to wait for the Notice.. Also they said they will be sending it to my address.. I was under the impression that they will be sending it to my lawyer.

You very well know the implications of raking up such sensational threads and if you do not, you should, going forward. Nothing personal bro. And hope your situation improves.
Also, if it helps here's my story: I'm a 4.0 GPA grad from one of the best univs in the US. I have been in this country for 12 years now with more than 10 years of work experience. However, my title still says that I'm a programmer. Sucks right? Yeah, others around us will grow, prosper and succeed in life. Feels bad to be in our shoes. This is a choice that each one of us has made. However, that does not mean we vent out our frustrations on a public forum. Even if we do, we should use proper means. My 2c :)

The RFE is about on what basis i am eligible to extend H1B?. I sent copy of my 485 receipt and MTR copy & letter from my current employer explaining my 485 is pending more than 365 days and AC21 we requested for H1 extension.I thought i am going to get only one year but ..got 3 year extension.If you need more details PM me your phone or email .Will glad to help you

I see 30 -40 k spill over this year but if my above post is true. DOS will not give any visas from spill to EB2 ROW or Eb1 once quarter is done. Otherwise spill over visas reduces as times passes and Eb2 Row and Eb1 gets more and more visas. I am waiting for DOL reports for past 2 months but they haven't post anything yet. That can clarify things lot.

Please appply EAD renewal in 120 days advance. You will get in time. :)
If I work on EAD and do not get the EAD card before it gets expires, do I need to inform my employer about the status. If I inform them they will be removing my name from the payroll and it will be hard to include it again. It is like my job getting terminated.

3. Trying to do a "divide-and-conquer" within IV.
IV is for all legal EB based immigration - it is very clear in the mission statement what is its goal.
Also, even if IV was as myopic as you claim, future generations of EB immigrants wll benefit simply by virtue of the fact that people currently in line will not fight with them for GC.

IV core has a lot of things on their plate IMO. Calling lawmakers should be just an initiative from the members.
When the need comes, I am sure IV core will guide us with an aggressive calling plan.
For now, we should concentrate on stregthening our state chapters as well as increasing membership while taking a look at contributions.
But do call Sen.Cornyn's office regularly such that SKIL bill has a chance soon.

at the POE i was being given I-94 validity till Nov 2008 but i have visa till 2009, when i asked the immigration officer at POE he told me my passport was expiring in 6 months and told me to get a new passport and come back, when i went back to airport they gave me one I102 form to fill, Iam on H4 visa and i havent used my EAD yet.
My question is
1. if i send the I102 form how long will it take to get new I 94 card.
2. i need to renew my EAD which i never used before will it cause any problem. do i need to submit my copy of I94 card for renewel of EAD.
3. Other option is going out of country and coming back but after entering into USA with H4 visa i applied my SSn and i got it and till now i did not use my EAD and i did not apply for AP as its not required., so if i go out of country and come back what will be my status as i applied SSN
Answers:
1. It takes 2-3 months to get I-94 card after I-102 application.
2. I-94 is not relevent for EAD. EAD renewal is based on photocopy of I485 receipt, photocopy of previous EAD and original letter which came with EAD. Also need the know the day, previous EAD was applied.
3. When we go neighbouring countries (e.g. Canada/Mexico) and want to use AVR, we need to keep I94. At the time of AVR, exit/entry record is updated. When we go to other countries, we need to surrender I-94 to airlines for exit record to be properly updated. So I am not sure, how you want to go out and get another i-94.

PIO card is valid for 15 years and no need to apply for visa every time you go. You just present it with the passport when entering/departing in India. it takes about 20 days to get it they say 15 working days which is about 3 weeks. if you do in person they will check all documents and let you know if there is some thing wrong so you can correct it and submit it and no issues when issuing. they give you date to pick up or even you can ask them to mail back for 15$. i would say get poi if you have time and also if you are local do pio if you are not getting it by the time of travel you can always go and get visa the same day. http://www.cgisf.org/ is the sfo counslate website can get all the infor and download application there. even you can email them they are very prompt in replying you will get a reply the next day if you have any questions

Sorry to hear that - I think it's a turn for the better! Last time I parted company it wasn't on the best of terms and quite bitter for many reasons but a few years hence it was the best that has happened to me yet

My AP was los in mail too (see signature). In my case I had gone to India to get 8th year H1 stamping, when the UPS guy left it at my door and I never got it. Yep, UPS, not USPS, this package was sent by my lawyer who knew I was in not at home :)
I called USCIS when I got back and they said I should re-apply if I need to go outside of US and re-enter on AP in next year, else don't worry.

Take a look at this link. As per this, 2010 is the timeline promised by USCIS to clear all backlogs.

USCIS has been playing around with the definition of backlog... I believe the recent changes indicate that from now on only approvable cases will be considered a part of backlog. Meaning:
- if your PD is not current, or
- if your namecheck has started and is pending for <180 days
your case does not even count as a backlogged case... When they say they'll clear backlogs by 2010 what they mean is all approvable cases (PD current and Namecheck either clear or 180 days old) will be approved within the published timeframes (12-18 months for I-485).
For people stuck in retrogression such backlog reduction efforts have almost no meaning...
